In today’s world, there is a big focus on inspirational quotes. Those that are chosen to motivate us, or to do or feel something positive. They demand an action or a thought, whatever that might be. And with ‘quotes of the day’ (#QOTD) becoming the norm over social media, it is sometimes hard to make an impact in a very busy, fast-paced digital world.

Easter eggs were once a rare luxury, with the very first produced in the UK by Cadbury’s and Fry’s in the 1870s. The eggs were advertised as a luxury gift or treat for the consumer as each egg had to be hand-painted into moulds by chocolatiers, leading to a very slow and small production. Logos are never just shapes on a page; they’re living symbols that carry decades of meaning, memory, and identity. Few brands prove this better than adidas, whose logo has shifted and evolved to reflect changing eras, audiences, and cultural movements. At LaserLines, we pay close attention to these transformations because they show how design is more than aesthetics; it’s strategy. By studying the evolution of an iconic brand like Adidas, we can uncover lessons in adaptability, storytelling, and visual impact, the same principles we bring into every creative project we deliver for our clients.

Typography is one of the most powerful tools in branding, often working quietly in the background to shape how people feel about a company before they even read a word. While colours, logos, and imagery play crucial roles, the choice of typeface can significantly influence a brand’s perception, communicating tone, personality, professionalism, and trustworthiness in subtle yet impactful ways.
