Acting as a safety net for gap year travellers, TravelAid plays a crucial role in enabling the younger generations to travel the world. Due to their audience, it was key to design and speak to them in an attractive manner, to showcase the importance of this crucial life line.
TravelAid is powered by Pharos Response, and therefore is supported by the collective knowledge and experience already established over the last 10 years. Already established as the UK’s leading provider of incident and crisis management support to tour operators, gap year providers, schools, international NGOs and adventure activity providers, they knew what needed to be said, however it was key to speak to prospective customers in the right language.
Working closely with the team, we created a brand that remained in line with Pharos Response, but had it’s own unique identity. Colours that reflected nature with brighter tones to attract a younger audience, imagery that showcased amazing destinations with appropriate models and a tone of voice that spoke to the end user – ‘we understand.’
As well as the gap year travellers themselves, it was also really important for our client to reach out to parents. We worked hard to find a way that both added some ‘fun’, but also highlighted the seriousness of the need for this sort of support when venturing off for these global life changing adventures. TravelAid are the safety net for parents too, providing a gentle hand or friendly voice at the end of the phone to ease any concerns or worries, whilst providing a world-class service.
Take a look for yourselves… but a quick warning first, you may want to book a holiday after.
